They were part of an exclusive club of power-players in Cold War DC. Georgetown was the neighborhood where the most influential wheeled and dealed, where the Kennedy’s held court, and where spies were everywhere eavesdropping on DC’s elite as the discussed the most important issues of the day. This 2-hour walking tour takes you into this world of intrigue. The tour begins at the Thomas Sweet Shop and ends at the house of code-breaker Ann Caracristi.
