In 1703, Scottish immigrant Ninian Beall was awarded 795 acres of land of what is now the Georgetown neighborhood and named it after his homeland. Legacy and Life begins with the East Coast premiere of Pulitzer Prize-winning composer Steven Stucky’s “Take Him Earth,” written to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the assassination of John F.
