Cirque’s ‘Kurios’ Amazes at Tysons

This summer, Tysons corner goes a little Las Vegas with Cirque du Soleil opening “Kurios — Cabinet of Curiosities” at the Lerner Town Square at Tysons II. The performance reveals a fantasti- cal world — heavy with people and props — inside the curio cabinet of an ambitious inventor, all staged on a stunning set. The human scale contrasts well with the acrobatics, high-flying dances and stimulating visuals and music typically associated with cirque performances. The show runs through Sept. 18.
