Theatre Lab’s Summer Acting Institute for Teens presents “Columbinus,” which takes its title from the 1999 mass shooting at a Colorado high school. Written by Stephen Karam and PJ Papparelli and directed by Randy Baker, the story is a combination of verbatim theater (created from the words of people involved in the tragedy) and original dramatic work, looking at the story from the perspectives of students, teachers, parents and the shooters themselves. Note: This play contains mature themes and language that may not be suitable for children.
