Disney’s ‘Dream Big’ Skates Into Verizon Center

Here’s what’s happening at the Verizon Center: “Believing is just the beginning when dreamers from Washington, D.C., witness the empowering tales of Disney’s most courageous leading ladies told through artistic skating and acrobatics in ‘Disney On Ice presents Dream Big,’ ” the company said.

Girls along with everyone else are invited to be inspired by eight Disney princesses – Ariel, Belle, Cinderella, Rapunzel, Tiana, Jasmine, Aurora and Snow White. The princesses embark on adventures, determined to make their dreams come true. Also on the icy stage is Disney’s popular “Frozen,” a tale of sisterly love.

Performances are at the Verizon Center through Feb. 20.
