Trump’s First Speech to a Joint Session (photos)

President Donald Trump delivered his “vision for America” in his first address to a joint session of Congress on Feb. 28. In a speech that was characteristically short on details, Trump praised his executive actions, called again for the repeal and replacement of the Affordable Care Act and reiterated his positions on immigration and national security. Using a teleprompter and adhering closely to script, the president delivered the address in a relatively subdued tone, in marked contrast to the fiery rhetoric of his speech to the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) just four days earlier.
