With tomorrow being National Puppy Day, we thought it was as good a time as any to kick off Dog(s) of the Week. After all, Georgetowners do love their furry friends. And one of their favorite places is Rose Park. Story with interviews by Craig Wilson and photography by Ricardo Jimenez are provided by the Friends of Rose Park.

Bill Dean, president and CEO of M.C. Dean.

EDUCATION
Home-schooled plus professional training. “They did great. Two weeks and it’s lasted.”

BORN
Beale, Virginia.

FAVORITE HAUNT
Baseball field at Rose Park. “They go crazy.”

FAVORITE PASTIME
Traveling by private jet. “They’re the best travelers. And they love yachting, too.”

DIET
“Shredder actually went on a hunger strike as a puppy over kibbles. We had to add the meats. Now they eat a special healthy blend of kibbles and canned meat. They don’t eat table scraps, at least not while I’m watching!”
