Portrait Gallery Choreographer-in-Residence to Speak

Choreographer Dana Tai Soon Burgess will speak at Georgetown Media Group’s last Cultural Leadership Breakfast of the year, on Thursday, Dec. 6, from 8 to 9:30 a.m. at the George Town Club, 1530 Wisconsin Ave. NW.
Burgess founded his modern dance company, made up of dancers from diverse backgrounds, in 1992. At the event, he will talk about his creative process, the company’s evolution and his collaborations with the National Portrait Gallery, where he has been choreographer-in-residence since 2016.
