The ’90s are back in D.C. this weekend, with a Dupont bar crawl on Saturday and a Potomac cruise on Sunday. Do you work up an appetite exercising? Then 305 Fitness at the Graham and vinyasa yoga at the Watergate, both followed by a buffet, will hit the spot. Opening Reception: ‘Over the Line’

On Thursday, Aug. 8, from 5 to 8 p.m., there will be an opening reception for “Over the Line,” a vibrant exhibition of women artists Andrea Fried, Guigui Kohon, Joyce Werwie Perry and Judith Pratt at Zenith Gallery, 1429 Iris St. NW. Jazz on Jackson Place

Presented by the White House Historical Association, Jazz on Jackson Place will feature tenor saxophonist Elijah Jamal Balbed in the courtyard of the Decatur House, 748 Jackson Place NW, on Thursday, Aug. 8, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Balbed, leader of the current Jo-Go Project, is a veteran of Chuck Brown’s go-go band. Festival Weekend at American Shakespeare Center

The American Shakespeare Center will open George Bernard Shaw’s “Caesar and Cleopatra” during Festival Weekend, Friday, Aug. 9, through Sunday, Aug. 11, at Blackfriars Playhouse, 10 S. Market St. in Staunton, Virginia. Prior to the 7:30 p.m. performance on Friday, there will be a conversation between Shakespeare scholar Ralph Alan Cohen and director Eric Tucker at 5 p.m. (admission $5). On Saturday, there will be a sensory-friendly show for children age 3 and older, “Midsummer 90,” at 10:30 a.m., a performance of “Julius Caesar” at 2 p.m. and a performance of “Antony and Cleopatra” at 7:30 p.m. On Sunday, the 2020 season will be announced by Artistic Director Ethan McSweeny at 11 a.m. and a performance of “Caesar and Cleopatra” will take place at 2 p.m. Tickets to each performance are $20 to $59. Daybreaker DC at the Swiss Embassy

The Embassy of Switzerland, 2900 Cathedral Ave. NW, will host a morning yoga and pool party on Saturday, Aug. 10. The pool party portion, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., will follow an hour of yoga from 10 to 11 a.m. Participants should arrive in bathing suits and bring a yoga mat, beach towels and other pool paraphernalia. 305 Fitness Class at the Graham

On Saturday, August 10, at 11:30 a.m., there will be a free 305 Fitness pop-up class with a live DJ in the Rooftop lounge at the Graham Georgetown, 1075 Thomas Jefferson St. NW. Area residents can don their ’90s apparel — including slap bracelets, high tops and fanny packs — and return to the time of the Spice Girls, AIM and “Clueless” on Saturday, Aug. 10, from 2 to 10 p.m. More than 10 Dupont Circle bars will have DJs, all-day drink specials, party favors and best-dressed prizes. Lily Ponds Live! Concert

Also on Saturday, Aug. 10, from 5 to 7 p.m., Kenilworth Aquatic Gardens, 1550 Anacostia Ave. NE, invites the public to the second Lily Ponds Live! concert of the season. In addition to the music, there will be food and games for kids. Attendees should bring chairs, a blanket and a picnic dinner if desired. Ringo Starr at Wolf Trap

Sir Ringo Starr and his All-Starr Band, featuring vocalist/multi-instrumentalist Colin Hay (Men at Work), guitarist Steve Lukather (Toto), keyboardist/vocalist Gregg Rolie (Santana, Journey), guitarist/vocalist Hamish Stuart (Average White Band), drummer Gregg Bissonette (Toto, Don Henley) and saxophonist/vocalist Warren Ham (Toto), will perform at Wolf Trap, 1551 Trap Road in Vienna, Virginia, on Saturday, Aug. 10, and Sunday, Aug. 11, at 8 p.m. Tickets are $45 to $95. Rooftop Yoga at the Watergate

An all-level, 50-minute vinyasa yoga class on Sunday, Aug. 11, at 9 a.m. on the rooftop of the Watergate Hotel, 2650 Virginia Ave. NW — with panoramic views of the Potomac River and Key Bridge — will be followed by a chef-prepared buffet with bottomless mimosas in the Watergate’s Kingbird restaurant. Paella Making at La Tasca

’90s Hip Hop/R&B Boat Party

Also on Sunday, Aug. 11, from 6:30 to 9 p.m., Reggie and Monisa of RegMoPromo will throw a ’90s Hip Hop/R&B Boat Party on the two-level Boomerang Yacht, departing from the Boomerang dock, 3100 K St. NW, on the Georgetown waterfront. DJ P-Drama and DJ Nate Geezie will spin hip hop and R&B favorites from the ’90s throughout the cruise. There will be drink specials in the fully stocked bar and food available from One Route Catering (no outside food or drink permitted).
