This evening, enjoy a fashion show on the rooftop of the Rosewood, see the Indigo Girls and Melissa Etheridge Saturday or Sunday at Wolf Trap, and see a dog wedding (seriously!) at The Darcy Hotel in honor of National Dog Day. Have a great weekend!

Don’t miss a fashion show hosted by Boat House Apparel at Rosewood today! From 4 to 8 p.m., there will be a canal side reception with Georgetown Heritage, VIP shopping in a penthouse suite, pickleball games, cocktails, music, and of course the rooftop fashion show. More information can be found here.
Check out “The Bigger Picture” at the National Museum of Women in the Arts

Get “Closer to Fine” with the Indigo Girls and Melissa Etheridge
The Indigo Girls and Melissa Etheridge are playing two shows this weekend at Wolf Trap. The Indigo Girls’ song “Closer to Fine” had another moment last summer when it was heavily used in the “Barbie” movie. Grammy winner Etheridge will be playing hits like “Come to My Window” and “Bring Me Some Water.” Note: Etheridge closes the show Saturday while the Indigo Girls will close the show Sunday, but both artists will be performing the same amount on both nights. More information on tickets can be found here.
Celebrate National Dog Day at The Darcy Hotel
The Darcy Hotel is partnering with Lucky Dog Animal Rescue to host a Saturday morning event where two adoptable dogs, Yukon and Claudia, will marry at Gerrard Street Kitchen (the restaurant at the hotel). The ceremony will be officiated by Good Boy Sherlock. Post-ceremony, guests can enjoy a dog-friendly brunch with a special treats and beverages for dogs and delicious human food for pet parents. Visit the Embassy of Australia for a Musical Evening

Over Australian wine and snacks, Jorgensen arranges a popular song and teaches it to attendees in a two or three-part harmony. The evening ends with a performance by everyone at the event. More information can be found here.
