This season’s Concert in the Park by the Citizens Association of Georgetown returned to Rose Park on late Sunday afternoon, May 18.
An estimated crowd of 400 people — children, dads, moms, grandparents and others — enjoyed singing and dancing to Stacy’s Dad, 90s cover band and sampling the fare of food stations, whether pizza, popcorn, popsicles or Alejandro’s tacos. Even, the police showed up.
Along with other groups’ goodies, CAG gave away over 300 bubble wands. The free, fun and family-friendly event sponsor was Nancy Taylor Bubes and NTB Group with Washington Fine Properties.
