Afternoon Tea at the Four Seasons Is Picture-Perfect

The new Afternoon Tea experience at the Four Seasons Hotel Washington, DC is impeccably inspired by the season. The popular tea with a Cherry Blossom-themed menu is available 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m., every Saturday and Sunday.
Seasons Executive Chef Sajish Kumar opens with savory selections that include Wagyu Beef on toasted milk bread, Duck Foie Gras Terrine with apricot gelée, Slow‑Poached Lobster with passion fruit pearls and Dill Scented Smoked Salmon with beetroot infusion and salmon roe.
Seasons Pastry Chef Jillian Fitch brings sweet touches of spring to the finale with a delicate Matcha Citrus Opera Cake with layers of vanilla and yuzu, Shiro Momo Milk Cakes, the Black Sesame Strawberry Sable with chocolate ganache and strawberry preserve and a signature Sakura Pavé with black cherry gelée and cherry blossom caviar.
As spring’s blossoms and flowers come and go, this Georgetown spring delight is a perennial favorite — premium teas and melt-in-your-mouth almond creme scones included.
