CAG Meeting Honors Two of Our Own

The Citizens Association of Georgetown had its annual meeting Wednesday, May 13, at Georgetown Visitation Preparatory School’s Nolan Center for the Performing Arts. Speakers included Mayor Muriel Bowser, Councilmember Brooke Pinto, CAG President Amy Titus and ANC2E Commissioner Topher Matthews.
The highlight of the event (at least for us at The Georgetowner!) was an awards ceremony at the end of the meeting. Our Editor-at-Large Robert Devaney and Senior Correspondent Emeritus Peggy Sands. The duo was recognized for their decades of contributions to the Georgetown community.
Congratulations, Robert and Peggy!
