The tight game had a bit of everything, including three blocked kicks and a rare Georgetown two-point runback of a botched Fordham extra point. The loss broke a four-game Hoyas winning streak.
The Oct. 20 victory was Georgetown’s third straight win, and the first time the Hoyas defeated Lehigh in conference play since they joined the league 18 years ago.
The football Hoyas’ comeback attempt against the Columbia Lions before a sellout homecoming crowd came a few yards short on Sept. 22 at Georgetown University’s Cooper Field.
