Grammy-nominated artist and bestselling author Jessie Reyez will be in DC on Wednesday, October 15 for a one-night-only book talk at Lincoln Theatre celebrating her latest poetry collection, The People’s Purge: Words of a Goat Princess Vol II.
Known for her raw vocal style, unfiltered lyricism, and electrifying stage presence, Reyez has built a global fanbase with hits like “Figures” and collaborations with Eminem, Calvin Harris, and Dua Lipa. She’s graced stages from Coachella to Lollapalooza and recently contributed to the Bob Marley: One Love and Rebel Moon soundtracks–but this DC appearance offers a rare, intimate look at a different side of her artistry.
