The Alzheimer’s Association National Capital Area Chapter will hold a virtual Q&A discussion with the directors of Our Time Machine, along with a discussion on the warning signs of Alzheimer’s, on Thursday, June 10 at 7 p.m. Registered attendees have free access to view Our Time Machine online from June 4 – 10.
Our Time Machine tells the story of artist Maleonn who, shaken by the news of his father’s dementia, creates “Papa’s Time Machine.” The wondrous time-travel adventure is performed on stage with life-size mechanical puppets. Through the play’s production, Maleonn confronts his own mortality and finds grace and unexpected joy in this moving meditation on art, the agonies of love and loss, and the circle of life.
