GC Myers 20th Solo Exhibition: Red Tree 20, New Growth

GC Myers is returning for his 20th solo exhibition! Myers is one of our longest represented artists, he began showing with us in 1997 and has remained a gallery staple.

GC Myers is a self-taught contemporary artist living in the Finger Lakes region of New York. He was led to painting in mid-life through an unexpected set of circumstances. He fell off the roof of his home during a renovation, his injuries were extremely serious and he was hospitalized. During his recovery Gary became anxious, he has a very active imagination so he began experimenting with paint and quickly became obsessed. Ever since, he has been painting full-time and exhibiting his work throughout the east coast.

Myers work is vividly colorful, filled with evocative line and texture, his paintings transform landscapes into a subject that is highly emotional and contemplative.

Please join us for the Opening Reception on Friday, June 7th from 6:30-9pm. We will celebrate the opening of GC Myers’ 20th solo exhibition and the artist will be in attendance!
