In this talk, Evelyn Lincoln, 2025–2026 Kress-Beinecke Professor at the National Gallery’s Center for Advanced Study in the Visual Arts, will guide us through the remarkable world of Leonardo and Girolama Parasole. These skilled woodblock carvers created intricate prints that animated everything from botanical manuals to religious texts.
