With the hope of getting interest from those wanting employment, the restaurant is holding a company-wide Job Fair on April 22 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at each of its Silver Diner locations (see website www.silverdiner.com for location.)
The company is offering a $200 signing bonus. There will be open interviews and offers on the spot. Employment opportunities include servers, line cooks, host/hostess, dishwashers, bussers, soda clerks, to-go cashiers and bartenders. Part-time and full-time positions are available with flexible hours. Entry level servers can make up to $750 per week.
As Covid restrictions began to lift and restaurants were allowed a higher indoor occupancy, Silver Diner opened its doors to welcome back guests and employees. While guest numbers are continuing to grow, employment remains daunting.
