The Alex Manfull Fund (TAMF) 5K will take place in Georgetown, DC on June 3rd, 2023. When Alex Manfull died, at 26 years old, due to a neuroimmune disorder known as PANDAS, Susan and William Manfull established a Fund in their daughter’s name with the vision that no life ever again be cut short — or interrupted — by PANDAS/PANS. The Alex Manfull Fund is proud to have provided the funding to establish a repository at Georgetown University Medical Center for brains from donors diagnosed with neuroimmune disorders which, in January 2022, became the POND Brain Bank — PANDAS/PANS and Other Neuroimmune Disorders Brain Bank. TAMF is dedicated to increasing awareness, education, and research of post-infectious neuroimmune disorders. The 5K will be an opportunity for community members and DMV residents to enjoy a beautiful run/walk on the Potomac trail while also supporting a cause that impacts the lives of many families.
