Warrior Expedition invites you to join their First Annual Warrior Expeditions Veterans Day Hike. The 6.5-mile self-guided hike begins at Fletcher’s Cove in Georgetown, through the National Mall, and concludes downtown with a BBQ reception and performance by recording artist Brendan James at Arnold & Porter. Registration includes a Nalgene water bottle and admission to the reception with a free BBQ dinner. Beer and Warrior Expedition promotional items will be available for purchase at the reception. The Veterans Day Hike will raise funds for Warrior Expeditions, a veteran nonprofit outdoor therapy program that helps combat veterans transition to civilian life through fully-supported long-distance outdoor hiking, biking, and paddling programs.
