Night of the Living Zoo, sponsored by Groupon, is bound to be a beastly good time when it returns Friday, October 26 from 7 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. at the Smithsonian’s National Zoo. Hosted by Friends of the National Zoo (FONZ), this year’s adults-only event will feature a range of street performers, including a sword swallower, a fire eater, a comedy juggler, a living marionette stilt walker, a zombie violinist and a body painter. Guests can buy food from some the best trucks in town to pair with a range of drinking options. There will be dancing, animal encounters, and, of course, no Halloween event would be complete without a costume contest.
