May 23rd will be a celebration honoring DC elders, and the Home’s supporters and friends. Mayor Bowser is scheduled to attend the award ceremony. The event will feature music by The Chuck Brown Band and guests will enjoy dancing, food, beverages and silent auction. The artwork created by the resident of the Home will be on display and available for purchase. The Home is a recognized 501(c)(3) tax exempt public charity.
