The Choral Arts Society of Washington held its 39th annual Holiday Concert and Gala at the Kennedy Center on Monday, Dec. 16. With German Ambassador Emily Haber and her husband Hansjörg as honorary patrons, German heritage was reflected in several of the program selections, under the baton of Artistic Director Scott Tucker, and during the post-concert dinner menu.
Among the highlights of the concert were the presence of mezzo-soprano Kristina Lewis and the Choral Arts Youth Choir, founded by Brandon Straub, as well as the Choral Arts Brass Ensemble. Following an auction and a dinner, guests took to the dance floor to celebrate the season.
