•From the Metropolitan Police Department (MPD), here are the latest crime and police reports in or near Georgetown.
Oct. 18 – Stabbing Alert: On the unit block of Longfellow Street NW. No identification for the suspect available.
Oct. 18 – Armed Robbery Investigation: Underway for an incident in the 2000 block of 12th Street NW. MPD is on the lookout for a grey Mercedes with PA Tag # LSK1140.
Oct. 17 – Personal Property Theft: A Georgetown University (G.U.) student reported that the incident occurred at St. Mary’s Hall located at 3700 Reservoir Road NW.
Oct. 17 – Bicycle Theft: At the Leavey Center garage bicycle rack located at 1560 Tondorf Road NW.
Oct. 16 – Homicide Investigation: MPD is seeking assistance for an incident on September 10 in the 100 block of Kennedy Street NW.
Oct. 16 – Armed Robbery (Gun) Investigation: MPD is on the lookout for a suspect involved in an incident in the 500 block of 14th Street NW. A video release of the suspect can be seen here.
Oct. 16 – Homicide Arrests: Two arrests were made for an incident on September 4 in the 600 block of Longfellow Street NW. A MPD press release with more details can be seen here.
Oct. 16 – Robbery Investigation: Underway for an incident in the 1300 block of E Street NW. MPD is on the lookout for two black males, late teens, one wearing a gray hoodie, and both wearing masks.
Oct. 15 – Homicide Arrest: MPD announced that an arrest was made for an incident on Oct. 6 in the unit block of O Street NW.
Oct. 15 – Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (Gun) Investigation: MPD released a video here that identifies suspects involved in an incident on October 3 in the 1400 block of Parkwood Road NW.
Oct. 15 – Robbery Investigation: Underway for an incident in the unit block of H Street NW. MPD is on the lookout for three suspects.
Oct. 15 – Purse Theft: At the Leavey Center (G.U.).
Oct. 15 – Burglary Investigation: Underway for an incident on September 26 in the 5700 block of Georgia Avenue NW. A video release of the suspect can be seen here.
Oct. 15 – Burglary Investigation: MPD recently released a video here for an incident on October 5 in the 1300 block of Wallach Place NW.
Oct. 15 – Bicycle Theft: The Georgetown University Police Department (GUPD) reported that the theft occurred in the vicinity of St. Mary’s Hall.
Oct. 14 – Robbery Investigation: MPD is on the lookout for three males involved in an incident in the 7000 block of 13th Street NW. They were described as one Hispanic and two Black males around 6’0 tall wearing masks.
Oct. 14 – Burglary Investigation: MPD is seeking assistance for an incident in the 1300 block of I (Eye) Street NW.
Oct. 13 – Update on Sexual Assault Case: MPD released a photo here of a suspect involved in an incident on October 4 in the 2000 block of G Street NW.
Oct. 13 – Armed Carjacking (Gun) Investigation: Underway for an incident on October 9 in the 2000 block of Eighth Street NW. MPD released video surveillance of the incident here.
Oct. 13 – Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (Motor Vehicle) Arrest Made: In reference to an incident on April 4 in the 100 block of Irving Street NW.
Oct. 13 – Bicycle Theft: A GUPD Officer reported that the theft occurred at the Leavey Center Bridge.
Oct. 12 – Sexual Assault: A G.U. student reported that the incident occurred on campus on October 5.
Oct. 12 – Armed Robbery (Gun) Investigation: Underway for an incident in the 1100 block of 20th Street NW. An image of the suspect can be seen in a video linked here.
Oct. 11 – Burglary Investigation: Underway for an incident in the 1700 block of M Street NW. Video surveillance footage of the suspect can be seen here.
