Dumbarton UMC Celebrates 250 years in Georgetown

Dumbarton United Methodist Church located at 3133 Dumbarton St.in Georgetown celebrates its 250th anniversary in 2022 making it the oldest Methodist church in DC. There are dozens of free celebrations planned during the year. On January 9 Congresswoman Eleanor Holmes Norton will be speaking at the11 am service followed by an Open House 12:30-3:00 featuring the 51st State Quilt project and the Dumbarton Stained Glass windows project.
