About the Author: Lydia Dugdale, M.D., an Associate Professor of Medicine at Columbia University College of Physicians & Surgeons, is joining us for a special event. With her background as an internal medicine primary care doctor and medical ethicist, she brings a unique perspective to our discussions.
Morning Session: “A Better Life: Christian Wisdom for Living and Dying Well” During our Sunday School session, Dr. Dugdale will explore profound insights from her popular book, The Lost Art of Dying: Reviving Forgotten Wisdom. Afternoon Session: “Beyond Denial: Confronting the Fear of Dying” Following our worship service, we’ll have a light lunch and Dr. Dugdale will present “Beyond Denial: Confronting the Fear of Dying.” This session is designed for those of all ages, including those caring for their elders. It will provide a deeper conversation and include a light lunch.
