The bold, visionary exhibit Prison Reimagined: Presidential Portraits Project has been created by artists living within the US carceral system and will be displayed throughout President Lincoln’s Cottage, the home where Lincoln developed the Emancipation Proclamation. The exhibit, a partnership with Justice Arts Coalition, will feature presidential portraits paired with that president’s record on incarceration, personal essays, and creative visions of what true justice could look like.
