About linn meyers: linn meyers divides her time between Washington, DC, and Los Angeles, CA. meyers’s works have been shown in public and private venues including the Hirshhorn Museum and Sculpture Garden, the Smithsonian American Art Museum, and the Phillips Collection, Washington, DC, the Hammer Museum, Los Angeles, the Drawing Center and Sandra Gering Inc., New York, the Tokyo Metropolitan Art Museum, Japan, the Amore Art Museum, Seoul, South Korea, ParisCONCRET, Paris, France, and Unosunove, Rome, Italy, among others.
meyers’s work is in the permanent collection of the British Museum, London, Amore Pacific Museum, Seoul, Los Angeles County Museum of Art, California, the National Gallery of Art, the Phillips Collection, the Hirshhorn Museum, the Kreeger Museum, the Philadelphia Museum of Art, and the Baltimore Museum of Art, among others.
meyers is the recipient of a Pollock Krasner Foundation Award, a Smithsonian Artist Research Fellowship, the Anonymous Was a Woman award, several DC Commission on the Arts fellowship awards, and numerous residencies.
About Anne Reeve: Anne Reeve is Curator at the Hirshhorn Museum and Sculpture Garden in Washington DC, where she oversees the museum’s collection of modern and contemporary sculpture. She organized the Hirshhorn’s first major collection exhibition devoted exclusively to the work of women and gender-nonconforming artists, Put It This Way: (Re)Visions of the Hirshhorn Collection (August 2022-September 2023), as well as their recent presentation of the landmark survey exhibition, Simone Leigh (November 2023-March 2024).
