Join us for a virtual panel exploring the concept of accessibility in urban infrastructure and design. Panelists will discuss urban accessibility as a critical component of city life that impacts overall mobility and public transport.

Focusing on case studies from the United States, Nigeria, and Madagascar, the presentations will address DIY urbanism; design education; the future of accessible design; pioneering models like the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA); and the spaces where art, learning, and community converge.

This program is coordinated by the National Gallery’s Center for Advanced Study in the Visual Arts.
