2nd District Community-Police Ride Rescheduled for July 31

The Metropolitan Police Department’s Mountain Bike Tactical Unit is joining up with the Citizen’s Advisory Council to host their annual community bike ride event, the Orange Helmet Patrol. This event will take place 7 p.m. to 8 p.m., Thursday, July 31. It was rescheduled because of bad weather. The ride will begin at 26th and P Streets, NW. Meet your neighborhood officers and be part of a new high-visibility crime prevention strategy. All skill levels and ages are encouraged to join the ride.
