Blue Hope Bash Supports Colon Cancer Prevention and Awareness

The Colon Cancer Alliance hosted the 6th Annual Blue Hope Bash to raise awareness about colon cancer on Oct. 20 at the Fairmont Hotel. The sold out evening honored fashion designer Carmen Marc Valvo, a colon cancer survivor and board member. During the seated dinner Sherry Truhlar of Red Apple Auctions conducted a spirited offering of temptations including a hands-on culinary tour of Tuscany. In January, the Chris4Life Colon Cancer Foundation and the Colon Cancer Alliance merged to create the nation’s largest colon cancer nonprofit.
