Between Raindrops, Tudor Place Salutes Georgetown Garden Club

Despite an earlier burst of heavy showers, the evening of Sept. 22 provided a dry celebration of the 29th Annual Garden Party for the historic Tudor House Museum and Gardens and proved a joyous outdoors event. Devoted Tudor House attendees rejoiced in being able to reunite and sample a selection of foods and luscious desserts under white tents which formed a perfect white-lighted canopy amid the green. This year’s honoree – the Georgetown Garden Club – received resounding accolades for its unselfish service to the community and continued support at Tudor Place.
