The lively, grand opening on Nov. 15 for the luxe Limani Restaurant at the Southwest’s Wharf could not have been more fitting to Greek traditional cuisine foodies who might only envision sitting in a Greek island harbor taverna. “Limani” means “port” in Greek. The 16,000-square-foot, three-story restaurant — helmed by Executive Chef Lonnie Zoeller — is filled with images of the Greek islands, marked by olive trees. Its waterfront scenic views will unleash a patron’s imagination to want to dance into the sunset — Zorba style.
