White Dinner on the Piazza at I Ricchi Dazzles

A sold-out crowd gathered in their finest white finery on the Piazza at I Ricchi Restaurant on June 21 for the 9th Annual White Dinner “Cena Bianca,” celebrating the 35th anniversary of the opening of restaurant by Chef Christianne Ricchi as well as the solstice and beginning of a fantastic summer. As guests arrived, trays of San Pellegrino spritz cocktails were passed together with a generous assortment of Italian hors d’oeuvres. Three long tables held place cards where pasta and a variety of entrees were served concluding with panna cotta.
Jose Alberto Ucles emceed the evening with special care for his tablemates including prosecco and much-appreciated fans (white naturally). The very gifted Tom Noll had spent a sweltering day bedecking the great outdoor piazza with white paper bouquets and embellishments of all kinds. Music by guitarist Jorge Anaya and accordionist Peter DiGiovanni delighted, with several guests singing, dancing and celebrating birthdays and anniversaries.
