The 2024 Paris Olympics are upon us! Here are five options to celebrate Team USA and the 33rd Olympiad.

Penn Quarter Tavern is partnering with Mayor Bowser’s Office of Nightlife and Culture to host a watch party for the opening ceremonies. The fun begins at 1 p.m., a half hour before the ceremonies start live in Paris. See the flyer here.

Taffer’s is hosting happy hour specials to gather and watch the game. Enjoy $3 off cocktails, $6 beer pints, $10 wines by the glass and half off certain wine bottles. The specials will be available Monday through Thursday 3 p.m. to closing, Fridays 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. and 9 p.m. to closing, and Saturday and Sunday 9 p.m. to closing.

The D.C. Department of Parks and Recreation and Mayor Bowser are hosting an Olympics watch party Friday at 1 p.m. Enjoy the opening ceremonies on a giant screen at the Reservoir Park Recreation Center.

Beginning Friday and lasting through the Olympics’ end on August 11, Michele’s is hosting an Olympic Celebration nightly from 4-10 p.m. Enjoy a special a la carte menu with a selection of French-inspired dishes. The Olympic games will be shown on big screens, and Olympic-themed cocktails will be available too.
