Mardi Gras Gala: Fine Wines, Strong Bones

The Osteogenesis Impefecta Foundation hosted its “DC Fine Wines, Strong Bones, Annual Mardi Gras Gala” at the National Gaylord Convention Center in Maryland on March 1.
The heartwarming event featured a New Orleans-style celebration with a zydeco band and dancing — along with a roulette casino table and, of course, French Creole food. There was a live auction for funding dedicated to additional research and awareness for this disease, commonly known as brittle bone, a disease that occurs at birth.
It was truly a night of community celebration and charity for all in attendance.
