Citibank celebrated the grand opening of its flagship Georgetown Citibank Center on at 1258 Wisconsin Ave. NW, with a ribbon-cutting ceremony, bringing together community leaders, nonprofit organizations, clients and Citi colleagues.
“The Georgetown Citibank Center offers clients a more personalized full-service banking experience and will serve the region as a vibrant hub for community engagement,” said Mindy Mercaldo, head of U.S. Branch Network at Citi. “Its modern, flexible design creates a welcoming environment where clients feel at ease, supported and empowered in their financial journey.”
The 6,427-square-foot space offers Citi’s full range of services, with flexible seating and an open-floor plan that invites community engagement through events and education, the company tells us. Completed in March 2025, the renovated branch blends preserved historic elements of the Forrest Hall building with a modern design—part of Citi’s broader investment in the D.C. region, following recent openings in Clarendon, Vienna and Anacostia.
