Among the musical holiday celebrations this weekend: Signature Theatre’s “Holiday Follies,” Washington National Opera’s “The Little Prince,” Washington Revels’ “The Christmas Revels” and the Cathedral Choral Society’s “Joy of Christmas.”
Presented by the Georgetown Business Improvement District, “Glow,” Georgetown’s exhibition of light art, will feature nine installations by local and international artists, with works lit from 5 to 10 p.m. nightly.
Leonard Slatkin and Livingston Taylor are in town Friday, which is also Ladies Night at the Folger Shakespeare Theatre. Saturday is Día de los Muertos in Arlington and on Sunday you can learn to pre-prepare holiday casseroles and/or paint watercolors mindfully.
Going by the calendar, Halloween is on Tuesday. But the partying has already begun, continuing tonight at the Watergate’s Argentta Spa, on Saturday at Tudor Place and Malmaison and on Sunday at Pinstripes.
