Operated by the DowntownDC Business Improvement District (BID) and Diverse Markets Management, the 17th Annual Downtown Holiday Market, Washington D.C.’s outdoor shopping village, kicks off the holiday season Friday, November 19. The beloved outdoor market returns to downtown Penn Quarter, transforming two city blocks on F Street into a one-stop shop, open-air winter wonderland. Guests can make the most of their holiday shopping experience this winter supporting local businesses and finding unique, festive treasures in the heart of the District through December 23.
Following past traditions, the holiday market lineup features more than 70 exhibitors including Black-owned and minority-owned businesses such as Smell of Love Candles, Marcella Kriebel Art + Illustration, Sarah Nickel Ceramics, Kin & Care and Raw Blossom. The new Macy’s STORY, a curated, narrative-driven retail experience, will also be featured, along with returning food and beverage favorites across the market and a live stage of regional performers. The daily schedule will be announced on the Downtown Holiday Market website.
Admission to the market is free. The Downtown Holiday Market will also be joined by Kimpton Hotel Monaco DC and Dirty Habit as the official hotel and restaurant partners. The market is flanked by two Gallery Place Metro stop entrances. Parking is available in many nearby garages, which you can locate via Spot Hero on Downtown Holiday Market’s “Getting Here” page. |
