DC author Kim Roberts has fascinating tales to tell of the literary life of Washington from the Revolution to the modern era. Through slides and narratives she brings alive the rich literary history of downtown, the LeDroit Park and Shaw neighborhoods, Lafayette Square and the historic U Street district. Evening includes tour of historic Arts Club Monroe building, host of the event. Free and open to the public, with a Q&A, reception and booksigning to follow.
