Holiday musical tribute to the juke joint runs through January 9, 2022
What: A Snowy Nite at the Dew Drop Inn, directed by Stephawn Stephens (The Black Nativity), reopens this holiday season at the Anacostia Playhouse. This cabaret-style musical tribute to the Juke Joint highlights themes of love found, love lost, and love renewed in the midst of holiday cheer. The show features songs made famous by Big Mama Thorton, Fats Waller, Etta James, Dinah Washington, and more.
