The Duke Ellington School of the Arts Vocal and Instrumental Departments will present An Evening at the Opera. The concert will feature the senior vocalists in the Principal roles in scenes from various operas and a few other styles of music. They will be accompanied by the underclassmen vocalists as the chorus and a full pit orchestra. The costumes will be from the Kennedy Center’s collection. There will also be a shorter matinee performance on Friday, May 3rd.
