The first-ever Love Beer Festival, which takes place in Washington, D.C. near Yards Park on Oct.6-7, is a celebration of great beer and the passionate people who brew it. The festival is a family-friendly event open to all beer lovers at no cost, giving D.C.-area residents a chance to explore their craft beer curiosities and enjoy classic lagers.
Love Beer Festival will kick-off on Oct. 6 with a Budweiser Clydesdales appearance at 11 a.m., followed by various interactive experiences, yard games, face painting and more. Beer lovers can also learn about different beer styles by reserving a spot in the on-site beer school or grabbing a chair at one of four food and beer pairing sit-down lunches, prepared by chefs from famed D.C. restaurants, Old Ebbitt Grill and The Hamilton.
Guests can also enjoy live music throughout the weekend at the Bud Light Dive Bar from Zeek Burse, Liz Cooper and the Stampede, Sun Seeker, City of the Sun, Busty and the Bass and more. More details can be found on the Love Beer Fest website.
