The Armed Services Arts Partnership (ASAP) presents its second annual “Armed with the Arts” performance on October 23, 2024, at Capital Turnaround in Washington, DC. This performance will showcase local military-connected storytellers, comedians, musicians, and visual artists, offering a powerful evening that reflects the strength and diversity of the veteran community. Whether through side-splitting comedy, heartfelt stories of resilience, or inspiring musical performances, “Armed with the Arts” promises to leave attendees both moved and entertained.
Amid the social isolation and mental health challenges often faced by the veteran community, the Armed Services Arts Partnership (ASAP) is a nonprofit that empowers veterans through storytelling and the creative arts, fostering social connectedness, resilience, and self-esteem.
