Unlock your creativity and discover the captivating world of printmaking in this engaging workshop series designed for adults. Over the course of several sessions, you will delve into the fundamentals of printmaking and gain hands-on experience with various techniques, tools, and materials.
During the 12-week course, you will become familiar with essential printmaking equipment, including brayers, carving tools, inks, and printing presses. You will learn proper techniques for carving blocks, etching plates, applying ink, and achieving consistent impressions. At the end of the class, you will be able to create notecards, gift tags, prints, and more, understanding how to apply the skills you learned here to future artistic practice.
Join us in the winter for Intermediate Relief Printing! For 12 weeks we will work with a variety of media culminating in 2 editions of prints as time permits. Classes include discussion, demonstration, and focus on individual expression. Students are required to supply their own supplies per my list.
