This 3-hour workshop will demonstrate the keys of taking a photo. Whether using iPhone or a physical camera, you will leave with knowledge about how to take a beautifully lit, perfectly framed, and well put together photo.
We will begin by reviewing what a photo is and how to understand it through different cultures and means. This will be a conversational style introduction to photography at large.
After, we will review the dimensions of light and how they interact. This will primarily be my understanding of each aspect rather than a textbook; in other words, how to take a photo in “common” understanding rather than an “academic” or “by the book.” Then we will discuss framing, different angles, and how to make a photo appear better professional. In this section, we will also review different techniques, accessories, and means. In addition, we will discuss photographic styles, such as street, landscape, wildlife, automobile, portrait, and more. Finally, we will understand composition. How to make the subject (or subject-less image) look as good as possible, including discussing the rule of threes, leading lines, and more techniques.
