Foggy Bottom Historic District’s modest but distinctively ornamented brick row houses date back to the 1870s. Minutes from the George Washington University’s Foggy Bottom campus, the district celebrates the former Irish, German and African American working class community and reflects urban changes over the decades. Led by Foggy Bottom Association History Project Co-Chairs Frank Leone and Denise Vogt, this virtual walking tour features the neighborhood’s architectural and historical highlights, as well as stories about the people who lived here.
