The DC Shorts International Film Festival is hosting the annual DC Shorts WINS!, on Friday, March 2, and Saturday, March 3, at the Miracle Theatre. DC Shorts WINS! features award-winning films from the most recent DC Short Film Festival and Screenplay Competition, held each September. Taking place on this year’s Academy Award weekend, there are two fully-packed showcases of 14 film shorts, all of which won Jury or Audience Awards, including two films that have been nominated for this year’s Academy Award for Best Live Action Shorts, Watu Wote – All of Us and My Nephew Emmett.
