Whether you want to be a traditional oil painter or a digital illustrator, a solid foundation in drawing is essential.
This 9-week class will allow students to pursue their own interests in art while also being introduced to fundamental principles of drawing. This class will start with pencil, then explore powdered graphite, and also pen. Students will be provided with a mix of drawing exercises to develop their skills and opportunities to develop their own interests.

– Week 1 (Jul 2) Master Copy Bargue Drawing- Introduce Comparative Measurement
– Week 2 (Jul 9) Still Life- Drawing from Direct Observation.
